Senior Nursing Professional

Job Overview:
A nursing professional is required to supervise enrolled nurses, healthcare assistants, and other staff members. The role involves training, coaching, and serving residents during mealtimes. Additionally, the professional will work with enrolled nurses to order medication and medical supplies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise Enrolled Nurses/Nursing Aides/Healthcare Assistants in their duties.
- Train and coach Nurses/Healthcare Assistants to increase their work competence.
- Serve, supervise, and help feed residents during mealtimes.
- Work with Enrolled Nurses/Nursing Aides to order medication and medical supplies.
- Administer oral/topical medication and injections when necessary.
- Conduct regular rounds in the Home.
- Prepare and attend to Doctor or Allied Health Professional visits when required.
- Timely documentation in the Care Management System.
- May be required to assume other shifts and be on call duty.
- Orientation of visitors when necessary.
- Record Donations-in-kind and in-cash in the book provided.
- Contact contractors such as plumbers and electricians after office hours when needed.
- Assist CNO to maintain discipline and well-being of the Nursing Team.
- Perform any other tasks assigned by CNO and Senior Staff Nurse.
- Possess a Diploma/Degree in Nursing.
- The person qualifying for this position should be a Registered Nurse.
- Have considerable years of working as a Registered Nurse, with valid accreditation from the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB).
- Be a consistent good performer with good knowledge in Nursing; equipped with good communication and interpersonal skills, and able to display competency to perform higher responsibilities.
