Business Development Manager Job Description

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving growth and innovation within our organization. Your primary focus will be on building and maintaining relationships with external partners, including employers, universities, and schools.

You will be responsible for connecting students and job seekers with opportunities, sourcing, screening, and referring candidates for internships and full-time roles. Additionally, you will support the planning and delivery of programs, workshops, and networking events to ensure smooth execution and meaningful engagement.

One of your key responsibilities will be collaborating with mentors and professionals, supporting their onboarding, participation, and engagement in career development activities. You will also contribute to the development and reporting of assessment tools through data analysis (e.g., psychometric analysis) and apply insights to improve recruitment and placement outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Interest in business development, education, and recruitment-related initiatives.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with external partners and internal teams.
  • Familiarity with program language like Python or R for psychometric development purposes.
  • Organized, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proactive problem-solver with attention to detail.
  • Prior experience in recruitment, partnerships, or program management is an advantage.
  • CEI Certification (or willingness to obtain within the first few months of employment).
