Job Description

A quality assurance specialist is responsible for verifying aircraft engine parts to ensure they meet airworthiness criteria and technical specifications.

Key responsibilities include assessing components, utilizing appropriate tools, implementing inspection techniques, analyzing data, and communicating any discrepancies.

  • Conduct thorough inspections of engine components, modules, and accessories.
  • Carry out detailed visual and dimensional checks to identify issues and recommend necessary repairs.
  • Perform in-process evaluations to ensure components maintain proper condition and precise measurements.

The ideal candidate will have an engineering or aerospace certification, 2-5 years of experience in inspecting aero engine components, and expertise in spotting and interpreting defects that could impact safety or quality.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Engineering or Aerospace certification.
  • Strong understanding of inspection standards, methods, and lifecycle principles.
  • Expertise in using measurement tools such as micrometers, vernier calipers, and gauges.
  • 2-5 years of experience in inspecting aero engine components.
