We are seeking a Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient logistics operations. This includes coordinating with shipping agents, monitoring vessel movements, and managing a fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Compliance: Ensure all logistical activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Safety and Health: Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to OSH guidelines and reporting any incidents.
  • Vessel and Logistics Coordination: Monitor vessel schedules and coordinate with customers and plant operators on order status and loading schedules.
  • Driver and Fleet Management: Plan and assign driver deployments to meet delivery KPIs, track driver progress using GPS tracking systems, and manage a fleet of vehicles.
  • Documentation and Customer Service: Prepare and verify shipping documents and process delivery receipts within required lead times.
  • Administrative Duties: Verify and reconcile driver trip records and handle urgent delivery requests.

Requirements

  • GCE 'A' level or Diploma holder in Logistics/Supply Chain Management.
  • At least 3 years of experience in 3rd party logistics, preferably in Traffic Planning & Workforce Planning & Allocations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
