Description and Requirements
The AP Category Business Management Leader supports the entire AP Business organization within the ISG AP Category team. Reporting to the AP Category Leader, this role involves studying the market landscape, identifying business opportunities, and coordinating execution with regional teams. Market Category Business Managers will report to you. You will collaborate with AP sales to execute campaigns and build trusted partnerships to achieve STAMP plans. This role ensures the correct identification and deployment of Category campaigns across regions and measures success.
Responsibilities:
- Establish a unified and integrated Campaign strategy with the ISG AP Category leader and all ISO AP markets.
- Curate data and apply decision-making processes consistently across AP markets.
- Coordinate with other regional Category campaign executions and provide consolidated reports.
Create ISG AP Category Fiscal Year Plan
- Partner with Sales to develop quarterly business plans by product to meet fiscal year goals, considering product portfolio, lifecycle, and channel strategies.
- Identify needs and gaps; develop growth plans for sales segments and channels in each region.
- Develop and implement AP Go-to-Market and route plans for new offerings.
- Work daily with sales teams to improve deal operations and collaborate with stakeholders to maximize deal value.
Build, Launch, and Track Product/Solution Sales Campaigns
- Implement data-driven growth initiatives and promotional plans aligned with channels, marketing, enablement, and adjacent areas.
- Educate ISO Sellers and Channel partners to ensure campaigns are understood and optimized.
- Analyze business environment and landscape across segments and markets.
- Maximize funding and resources with alliance partners.
P&L Management
- Target AP ESMB units, revenue, margin, product mix, and attachment rates.
- Partner with Sales for market 4P Category forecasts.
- Follow up on pipeline quality per market.
- Scrutinize negative deals to ensure high-volume returns on AP P&L.
Demand Planning
- Weekly review of shipped versus planned quantities to improve planning accuracy and target achievement.
Coordinate with demand planning and product management teams to meet market share IDC objectives, drive demand on available platforms, and prevent excess inventory buildup.
