Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Automation Design Engineer to lead the design, development, and maintenance of our Ship Management System (SMS). The successful candidate will be responsible for creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

The SMS is a complex system that requires expertise in electrical, electronics, and computer engineering. As an Automation Design Engineer, you will work closely with our team to develop and implement system architecture designs, perform system integration with third-party systems, and ensure seamless operation during the vessel life cycle.

In addition to technical skills, we are looking for someone who can effectively communicate with customers, project managers, and other engineering trades. Your strong analytical and problem-solving skills will enable you to identify and resolve issues quickly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Engineering in Electrical / Electronics / Computer; those with other engineering experiences are also welcome.
  • At least 5 years' experience with system architecture design, system maintenance, and/or networking.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure, as well as lead a small team.
  • Strong communication and analytical skills.
