Electrical Engineer - Automation PLC Job Description

  • The Electrical Engineer - Automation PLC is responsible for the design, development, commissioning, and maintenance of Ship Management Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design system architecture for Ship Management Systems.
  2. Perform system integration with third-party systems.
  3. Conduct Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), Set to Work (STW), and Harbour Acceptance Tests (HAT).
  4. Maintain software configuration management and technical documentation.
  5. Perform hardware/software maintenance and troubleshooting.
  6. Liaise with customers, project managers, and other engineering trades.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in system architecture design, system maintenance, and networking.
  • Ability to work independently under pressure and lead a small team.
  • Good communication skills to interact with suppliers and customers at all levels.
