Electrical Design Engineer Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Design Engineer to join our team. This is a hands-on role with near-term advancement opportunity towards a leadership position as our organization continues to grow.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop system architecture, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, IO maps, PLC code, panel layouts, and PCB boards for automation machines.
  • Create electrical bills of materials (BOMs), spare part lists, installation instruction manuals, maintenance guides, and technical design documentation.
  • Perform machine system setup, IO checks, and troubleshooting of electrical systems.
  • Conduct circuit simulations/analyses, design, development, testing, and debugging of circuit boards and embedded firmware.
  • Develop PCB board bills of materials (BOMs), Gerber files, assembly drawings, schematic drawings, technical design documentation, simulations/analyses reports, and test reports.
  • Produce PCB prototype boards and debug them.
  • Manage all electrical materials including PCB boards according to the machine production assembly schedule.
  • Perform firmware and PLC code maintenance, bug fixing, and enhancements.
  • Provide technical support and training on electrical systems of automation machines.
  • Supervise the workmanship of electrical technicians and contractors to ensure the build quality of automation machines.
