Key Mechanical Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced senior mechanical engineer to lead mechanical design proposals, costing, and solutions for automatic and semi-automatic assembly systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Proposal: Conduct cycle time studies, structural concepts, and automation mechanism design; prepare design proposals and costing for management approval.
  • Mechanical Design Execution: Deliver accurate 3D/2D designs & BOMs within scope, budget, and schedule; collaborate with Electrical & Software Engineers for seamless integration.
  • R&D & Technology Development: Lead Proof of Concept (POC) initiatives with vendors; explore and adopt new technologies to enhance automation systems.
  • Leadership & Support: Provide direction to peers and cross-functional teams; conduct design reviews and postmortems for continuous improvement.

Successful candidates will hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and have at least 5 years' experience in mechanical engineering. Strong knowledge of electromechanical systems in automation is required, as well as proficiency in MS Office and ability to perform design FMEA.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in Mechanical Engineering (custom automation systems).
  • Strong analytical skills in mathematics, statistics, and technical analysis.
