Automation Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Automation Software Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing electrical control systems for automated machinery.

Your primary focus will be on designing control panels, wiring layouts, PLCs, and HMIs. You will also create and implement logic for PLCs, motion control systems, and safety-related functions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration. Additionally, you will provide hands-on support in building prototypes, performing lab evaluations, and troubleshooting during on-site commissioning.

As an Automation Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to standardize electrical design processes and improve documentation quality by applying industry best practices and contributing to team knowledge sharing.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering or relevant technical discipline. They should have 1-2 years of experience in electrical design and integration for automation machinery.

Candidates with automation background and proficiency in PLC programming and E-CAD software are preferred. The ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams is essential.

Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration is also required. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and good communication skills are necessary for success in this role.

Requirements:
  • Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics Engineering / Computer science or relevant technical discipline.
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in electrical design and integration for automation machinery, including control panel design, wiring, and PLC-based systems.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply (Must be willing to learn).
  • Candidates with automation background.
  • Proficient in PLC programming and E-CAD software.
  • Ability to read and create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Knowledge of control systems, motion control, sensors, and actuators.
  • Experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and system integration.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
