Job Title:

Housekeeping Attendant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report any damage or malfunction in hotel rooms to a superior.
  • Attend meetings and training sessions as required.
  • Liaise with the Executive Housekeeper/Housekeeping Supervisor regarding chemical usage, problems, or rectification suggestions.
  • Evaluate guest services and requests promptly and courteously.
  • Deliver timely guest requests according to hotel standards.
  • Perform valet services when necessary, including linen delivery and laundry order processing.
  • Count linens delivered from vendors to ensure accurate orders.
  • Transport amenities from the store to the pantry.
  • Provide amenities to guests in accordance with brand standards.
  • Replenish guest supplies.
  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, corridors, linen rooms, and cupboards to set standards and procedures.
  • Maintain equipment in a proper state of cleanliness and repair.
  • Stay informed about hotel events and programs to recognize and address guests' needs.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel information to provide assistance to guests.
  • Assist guests and escort them to desired locations within the hotel.
  • Work in line with business requirements and adhere to brand standards.
  • Adhere to personal grooming and hygiene standards.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies.
  • Complete tasks as directed by Management, the Housekeeping Manager, or designated personnel.
  • Report lost and found articles immediately.
  • Inform superiors of guest complaints immediately.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Primary education or equivalent.
  • Some housekeeping experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees, and third parties.
  • Proficient in spoken, written, and read English language.
