Job Title: Housekeeping Attendant

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms and public areas.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in housekeeping or a related field and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will work closely with our team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and prepare guest rooms for incoming guests, including changing bed linens, replenishing amenities, vacuuming, and dusting.
  • Maintain the cleanliness of public areas, such as lobbies, corridors, and elevators.
  • Report any maintenance issues, including carpet cleaning requirements and pest infestations.
  • Report and hand in any Lost and Found items to the Floor Supervisors/Housekeeping office.
  • Ensure all cleaning tools and equipment used is clean and kept in good working condition at all times.
  • Maintain stock inventory of cleaning supplies, amenities, and linens to ensure no shortages and well-maintained inventory.
  • Perform daily tasks efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in fast-paced environments.
  • Provide assistance to guest queries and resolve any guest feedback or issues with housekeeping.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in a housekeeping role.
  • Able to converse in English.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shift work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to perform rotating shifts and 6 days work week.
  • Willing to work on weekends and public holidays.
  • Willing to commit OT when required.
