Job Title: Project Lead Engineer

As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in leading and coordinating all engineering disciplines on projects. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in ensuring the efficient execution of engineering activities, from conceptual design to project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments, driving innovation and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure efficient execution of engineering disciplines within the project, including commissioning and troubleshooting of automation systems.
  • Showcase expertise by acting as design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing corresponding engineering assignments, demonstrating knowledge in ABB PLC series, 800XA System, communication standards & protocols, S/W revision tracking tools, OPC & Networking.
  • Collaborate with project engineers and designers on translating conceptual designs to engineering documentation, applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate teams in all engineering disciplines on projects, providing technical inputs to sales teams and reviewing technical proposals based on customer specifications.
  • Develop and implement effective engineering solutions, collaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify engineering errors.
  • Coach project engineers and designers on translating conceptual designs to engineering documentation, promoting a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Highly skilled in design & engineering of automation systems for Marine and Offshore projects, with a degree or Masters in relevant Engineering discipline and at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to demonstrate knowledge in ABB PLC series, 800XA System, communication standards & protocols, S/W revision tracking tools, OPC & Networking.
  • Possess enhanced knowledge in commissioning of Power and Energy Management System (PEMS), ESS Solution, IAS, Remote Control System (RCS), Enhanced Powerplant protection system (EPPS) is desired.
  • Passionate about collaborating and delivering high levels of customer satisfaction, comfortable communicating in English.
