Senior Technical Leader - DevOps Transformation

We are seeking a seasoned professional to spearhead the transformation and drive engineering excellence for a large financial institution.

This is a hands-on leadership role for a technically proficient individual who will champion the cultural shift towards engineering-driven practices, implement cutting-edge DevOps methodologies, and foster collaboration across engineering teams.

You'll be at the forefront of designing and implementing strategic initiatives to create automated, cloud-native operational systems while eliminating manual processes and establishing new standards for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guiding the evolution of CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration on Kubernetes
  • Driving process transformation initiatives to eliminate operational bottlenecks and automate manual processes
  • Fostering collaborative environments across product engineering, DevOps, and Site Reliability Engineering teams
  • Remaining deeply hands-on with architectural design, code reviews, and key technical decisions
  • Acting as a change agent, using communication and negotiation skills to build consensus and drive adoption of new methodologies across the organization

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 12 years of extensive DevOps and SRE experience
  • Proven expertise in CI/CD pipeline automation, infrastructure-as-code, and observability
  • Essential technical skills include proficiency in coding, Docker, Kubernetes, GitHub Actions, Terraform, ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and Datadog
  • Expertise in cloud-native architecture and microservices, API management, and security best practices
  • A proven track record of managing and leading technical teams, mentoring engineers, and driving organizational change
