Roles & Responsibilities Our HR Assistant for Five Oars Coffee Roasters plays a key role in supporting HR operations for a workforce comprising both full-time and part-time staff. This role is responsible for handling day-to-day HR processes, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and providing frontline support to employees and managers. The HR Assistant works closely with the HR Manager to ensure the smooth execution of HR activities. Key Responsibilities Manage end-to-end HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, contract administration, and exit processes for FOCR staff. Consolidate attendance, timesheets, and part-time work records to support payroll preparation and accuracy. Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related queries from staff, including leave, medical claims, and benefits. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure proper documentation in HR systems. Assist in ensuring compliance with MOM regulations such as CPF contributions, work passes, and other statutory requirements. Support employee engagement activities, welfare programs, and outlet-level initiatives to improve staff morale and retention. Provide HR administrative support such as preparing letters, reports, and maintaining staff databases. Coordinate with outlet managers on manpower planning, shift allocations, and recruitment needs. Requirements Nitec or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field. 1–2 years of HR experience preferred; candidates with strong F&B or part-time workforce management exposure will have an advantage. Familiarity with Singapore employment regulations and CPF submissions. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and exposure to HRIS or payroll systems will be a plus. Good interpersonal and communication skills to engage with staff at all levels. Team player with a positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to support a fast-paced F&B environment.
