Job Opportunity:
We are seeking a highly skilled professional to oversee daily operations and production in our dynamic furniture manufacturing facility.
This role is ideal for someone with a solid background in woodworking processes, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to quality and safety.
The successful candidate will lead end-to-end supply chain operations across Singapore and Malaysia, ensuring smooth coordination between facilities.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing production schedules, aligning resources to meet delivery timelines and customer requirements. They will also coordinate with department heads (Production, Sales, Procurement, Warehouse, and Drafting) to ensure effective communication and collaboration across teams.
Additional responsibilities include monitoring and optimising inventory levels, procurement activities, and material flow to minimise delays and waste. The individual will implement and enforce quality control, safety, and compliance standards in line with company policies and regulatory requirements. They will train and motivate team members to achieve operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Troubleshooting operational challenges, identifying process gaps, and driving efficiency through innovative solutions are essential skills required for this role. Finally, the candidate will prepare reports on production performance, supply chain efficiency, and cross-border coordination.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years of experience in furniture manufacturing or woodworking.
  • Proficiency in woodworking machinery and techniques.
  • Supervisory or leadership experience in a factory setting.
  • Strong understanding of quality control and workplace safety.
  • Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use basic computer tools.
