Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Therapist to join our team. As a key member of the Allied Professionals Department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy intervention to students with diverse communication needs.

About the Role

  • You will work collaboratively with teaching staff, parents, and caregivers to identify and assess individual therapy needs, develop effective tools for identification, assessment, and intervention, and implement individual/group therapy programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify student therapy needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff, parents, and caregivers to enhance services and ensure consistent communication and progress monitoring.
  • Evaluate and document students' progress regularly and review the effectiveness of interventions to inform future strategies.
  • Provide consultation and updates to relevant staff members and caregivers to support the delivery of high-quality services.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Speech and Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Registration as a Speech Therapist with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC).
  • Previous experience working in schools or with similar populations.
  • Strong passion for working with children, youths, and their families to promote growth and development.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
