The ideal candidate will be part of our globally recognized network, working closely with a team of technical experts to execute CGMP Cell Therapy production activities.

This position offers unparalleled exposure to cutting-edge biotechnology and innovation, allowing individuals to grow their careers and make a meaningful impact from day one.

Responsibilities include manufacturing therapeutic cell products under CGMP conditions, executing production activities through to filling of final dose product within a stringent clean room environment.

Production occurs in a classified production suite, requiring strict adherence to clean room standards and protocols.

Thorough training and assessment are provided, enabling successful applicants to develop expert technical knowledge and flawless execution of the Cell Therapy production process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Comply with site/department EHS standards, policies, rules, and regulations
  • Develop a thorough understanding of principles of CGMP compliance and clean room practices
  • Contribute to maintenance of 'in-operation' production facilities and equipment, including cleaning and sanitization, equipment monitoring, sampling, pH and conductivity checks
  • Solution and medium preparation, followed by aseptic filtration into sterile containers
  • Revival and culturing of anchorage-dependent cell lines in static flasks and cell factories
  • Harvest and concentration of cell factory-generated cell cultures using tangential flow filtration or centrifugation
  • Final formulation and filling of vials, visual inspection, and cryopreservation
  • Participation in aseptic process simulations and accurate completion of batch record documentation

Qualifications:

  • Degree/Diploma/NITEC in a related Science/Engineering discipline
  • Individuals without prior experience in the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry are encouraged to apply, as comprehensive training will be provided
  • Knowledge of cGMP applications and cell culture principles
  • Strong team-oriented work ethic, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to perform physical activities in a clean room environment, including standing for extended periods and manual labor
