Due to rapid expansion, we are now looking for a
Senior Sales Consultant .
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sales Consultant to drive client acquisition, retention, and revenue growth in a complex B2B environment within the oil and commodity trading space. The role requires strong relationship-building, strategic selling, and deep product knowledge of our E/CTRM software.
Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Work with internal teams to ensure successful onboarding of new clients; manage a portfolio of clients and act as the primary point of contact for inquiries, concerns and feedback related to the E/CTRM platform; anticipate issues and provide proactive solutions; collaborate with Services, Support, and Development to resolve client concerns; develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers; conduct regular check-ins and data reviews to ensure engagement and satisfaction; manage contract renewal discussions.
Client Retention & Revenue Expansion: Drive client retention by identifying opportunities to expand usage and add value; keep clients updated on features and enhancements; facilitate product demos and training as needed; identify additional billable opportunities; provide feedback to influence product improvements and roadmap alignment with client needs.
Leads Generation / Market Knowledge: Identify and generate qualified leads; understand prospects’ business needs; stay informed about E/CTRM industry trends, pain points, gaps, competitors, and product developments to position offerings effectively.
Product Expertise / Presentations & Demonstrations: Maintain in-depth knowledge of E/CTRM software and its applicability to the oil and commodity trading industry; conduct discovery to map client needs to product capabilities; deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations highlighting value, ROI, and strategic fit.
Sales Cycle Management: Participate in end-to-end sales processes from initial contact to contract negotiation and closure; assist with proposals, RFP responses, and pricing; support negotiations to achieve win-win outcomes aligned with company goals.
Other: Maintain accurate CRM records; support Marketing campaigns as needed; perform ad-hoc duties as required.
Requirements
Strong experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in enterprise software sales within a complex B2B environment
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to travel domestically or internationally as required
Ability to engage with stakeholders at all organizational levels, including C-suite
Strong understanding of enterprise software solutions
Commodity/oil trading experience is not essential but the candidate must be able to quickly learn technical jargon and industry terminology
