What the role is:
Be part of a dynamic team to organise the Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2026, to be held at the Sands Expo & Convention Centre, after Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) 2026, 15 – 19 June. You will work with eminent local and international stakeholders to build a high-quality event to foster the sharing of insights from city and industry leaders, practitioners and technical experts, as well as profile Singapore’s thought leadership, water management capabilities and technologies globally. This opportunity is for students who have completed GCE A-Level in 2025 and can commit full-time from 12 January 2026 until 3 July 2026.
What you will be working on:
Programme and Partnerships: Curate, coordinate and execute programmes and activities at SIWW2026
Programme and Partnerships: Liaise with sponsors and partners on SIWW2026 programmes and joint events
Programme and Partnerships: Manage high-level and speaker invitations, RSVPs, seating plans and overall VIP management at the SIWW2026 programmes and networking events
Programme and Partnerships: Prepare administrative and logistic instructions related to SIWW2026
Programme and Partnerships: On-site management of speakers and high-level attendees
Programme and Partnerships: Manage and coordinate the production and inventory of NEWGinEvent Marketing
Event Marketing: Champion professional-facing content that is effective at prompting action
Event Marketing: Create, produce and source for content pieces for SIWW’s various engagement channels, including website, social media platforms, EDMs and SIWW+, according to intent and direction
Event Marketing: Responsible for analysing, evaluating, and reporting the effectiveness of content executions
What we are looking for:
Good command of written English
Good written and verbal communication skills
Mature, meticulous and organised
Communicative, driven, self-motivated, independent, proactive and eager to learn
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience and/or interest in event management / water-related climate issues
Appreciation for content marketing, and have yourself out there in keeping up with sector-specific trends
Good knowledge of leading social media platforms, including their algorithms, in particular LinkedIn
Interest in photography, videography, and media production. Experience in a similar role with demonstrated success is a major plus
