Job Title: Care Support Associate

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care Support Associate to join our team. As a key member of our care delivery team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high standard of resident care under the supervision of a Staff Nurse.
  • Perform nursing procedures such as instillation of eye/ear drops, application of cream, wound dressing, etc.
  • Assist in serving medicine under the supervision of a duty Staff Nurse.
  • Conduct physical examinations and check vital signs of residents and report any abnormalities to the Staff Nurse.
  • Administer first aid, evaluate residents' conditions, and make recommendations for urgent treatment at hospitals and polyclinics when necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with current medical and nursing practices.
  • Accompany residents to hospitals and polyclinics for follow-up appointments and outings.
  • Assist with mealtime services and help with admission and orientation of new residents.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills, empathy, and a strong work ethic. You should also have basic knowledge of medical terminology and nursing principles.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Familiarity with infection control procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
