Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team. As a key member of the construction project team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and aligned throughout the project lifecycle.

You will be required to reconcile measurements and costs with clients, monitor changes on-site, and prepare and submit change proposals for approval.

Additionally, you will handle commercial claims, manage contracts, and maintain accurate records of project progress and costs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent, as well as a minimum of 4 years' experience in structural fabrication and construction works for large construction projects.

You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

In addition, you should have a strong understanding of contract law and commercial practices, as well as proficiency in relevant software applications such as MS Office and project management tools.
