Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Storage Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and managing our storage systems, ensuring they are secure, reliable and scalable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement storage architectures using Hitachi Storage systems.
  • Manage and maintain existing storage systems, including Hitachi midrange and enterprise storage, Brocade switches and fabric.
  • Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Provide technical support and training to colleagues and clients.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot storage performance issues.
Required Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Excellent knowledge of storage architecture, including Hitachi Storage Systems.
  • Experience with storage replication, snapshot, shadow image and remote replication sync and async.
  • Knowledge of Brocade switch and fabric zoning, ISL, trunking, fabric merging.
  • Basic understanding of VMware, OS (AIX/Windows/Linux).
  • Scripting knowledge and experience.
