Water and Wastewater Project Specialist

Project specialists play a vital role in the successful execution of water and wastewater projects. As a Water and Wastewater Project Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, budgeting, and execution.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage water/wastewater projects to ensure timely completion and within budget.
- Collaborate with clients, project teams, and contractors to achieve smooth project implementation.
- Work closely with the project manager and BIM designer to review, update, and submit drawings on time.
- Prepare method statements, risk assessments, progress reports, and technical submissions.
- Regularly inspect sites to monitor project progress, quality, safety, and health practices.
- Participate in plant testing and commissioning at the site.
- Effectively manage engineering and project documents.
- Verify job completion and prepare progress claims.
- Provide technical support for tender preparation.
- Collaborate with the Operations Department on ISO audits.
- Lead teams to execute works in compliance with safety regulations, aiming for zero workplace accidents.
- Perform other tasks as required by management.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering from an accredited institution.
- Proficient in CADWorx or AutoCAD.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in a similar industry is preferred.
- Able to interact effectively with various levels of personnel.
- Self-motivated and team-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A valid Class 3 license is preferred.
