The Role of a Treasury and Trade Business Development Manager

About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Treasury and Trade Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for driving business growth by establishing relationships with corporate clients and promoting our Treasury-as-a-service platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Establish a client base from scratch by approaching corporates (MSMEs & MNCs) to adopt our exclusive treasury service platform.
  • Currency/Rates Markets Expertise: Understand the client's exposure to currency and rates markets and advise on managing this exposure through our treasury AI platform.
  • Strategic Planning: Devise strategies to expand our Treasury-as-a-service footprint at the city level.
  • Operational Expertise: Provide operational expertise in foreign exchange, treasury, and corporate borrowings to ensure seamless product delivery.
  • Client Relationship Management: Manage key client relationships, focusing on retention and upselling through unique value propositions and advisory services offered by our treasury platform.
Requirements
  • A strong background in business development, preferably within the finance or banking sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • In-depth knowledge of currency and rates markets, as well as experience in foreign exchange and treasury management.
  • Strategic planning and problem-solving skills, with the ability to devise innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
  • Operational expertise in financial services, with a focus on delivering high-quality products and services.
