**Which role?**
**As our Business Development Manager, you will **
Proactively seek, identify and qualify new clients/ revenue for the business and effectively convert lead opportunities. In doing so, you should deliver excellent customer service to all introducers, prospects, clients, internal and external stakeholders. Project a positive image of the business through all activities and maximise business opportunities by using best practices.
**Your responsibilities as our Business Development Manager will include**:
- Proactively, building new and maintaining strong relationships with introductory sources including financial brokers, insolvency practitioners, accountants, banks, clients, etc.
- Achieving own targets of new deals and minimum fees by building a level of new enquiries.
- Attending networking events and securing opportunities for new business contacts.
- Effectively managing the new client process through conducting sales meetings with prospective clients, completing sanction memo of the facility, chasing outstanding enquiries and paperwork on deals.
- Continuously developing knowledge and understanding of the BFS products and services.
- Continuously, keeping up-to-date on knowledge of the local SME landscape.
- Proactively liaising with internal departments such as Marketing, Risk and Operations to ensure the smooth transition of new deals from origination through to underwriting and pay-out to clients.
- Timely and accurately updating weekly and monthly sales information in systems to relevant internal stakeholders.
**What we are looking for in our ideal Business Development Manager**:
- Highly successful track record in Customer Sales. Direct experience in Financial Services is an advantage, although not necessary as training will be provided.
- Numeracy and literacy skills including knowledge in Financial Analysis.
- Effective Customer Handling skills.
- Planning and Organisational skills.
- Strong drive to succeed and keen interests to develop a career in the Financial Services Sector.

**As our Client Manager, you will **
Provide excellent customer service to your assigned portfolio of existing clients. Proactively, seeking and identifying opportunities to grow the relationships in order to increase income wallet from them.
Working effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure clients’ needs are fulfilled end-to-end in an excellent and timely manner.
In doing so, you would contribute to building strong and lasting relationships with our valued customers.
Project a positive image of the business through all activities and maximise business opportunities by using best practices.
**Your responsibilities as our Client Manager will include**:
- Proactively, manage an allocated clients’ portfolio.
- Ensuring excellent customer service is implemented and maintained in accordance with BFS Customer Charter. In so doing, ensuring clients‘ long term commitment and trust.
- Fronting customers for their daily funding needs and coordinating with Operations to ensure that their needs are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Conducting regular client visits and provide timely update.
- Monitoring clients‘ financial performances through periodic account reviews. Thereby, identifying both opportunities and risks.
