Job Title: Regional Crisis Management Lead

About the Role

The Regional Crisis Management Lead will be responsible for managing a high-performing team of crisis analysts who coordinate responses to major global incidents and crises.

  • Lead a team of crisis analysts who respond to major global incidents and crises.
  • Develop regional strategies and country-specific modifications for crisis management activities, driving team improvements for greater effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Investigate reported incidents across multiple channels and respond to global partner inquiries, maintaining professionalism under high stakeholder pressure.
  • Prioritize risks and escalations based on severity and urgency, training teams to adapt to evolving situations.
  • Analyze incident trends, systems, and data to recommend process, policy, and product improvements.
  • Implement protocols for rapid response and containment of violative content/issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams when issues cannot be resolved independently.
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to mentor and manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Capacity to translate actions into systematic processes.
  • Awareness of social media challenges and sensitivity to safety and regulatory issues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in crisis management or risk management is advantageous.
  • Quantitative skills, data-driven mindset, SQL or Excel proficiency.
  • Passion for helping the user community.
