Job Title: Network Innovation Strategist


Job Description:


  • Network Protocol Expertise: The ideal candidate will drive network protocol innovation, standardization, and technical leadership in data centre networks. This includes optical interconnection and AI applications.

  • Protocol Development & Planning: Design and plan network protocols aligned with the company strategy. Develop forward-looking technical roadmaps for the industry.

  • Standardization & Industry Influence: Participate in international standard organizations to turn company innovations into industry standards.

  • Technical Innovation & Problem-Solving: Innovate protocol architecture for optical interconnection and AI, and solve protocol challenges in ultra-large-scale networks for high-performance chips.

  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with chip design and validation teams to ensure R&D aligns with company strategy and industry standards.


Requirements:


  • Education: A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related field is preferred; a Master's degree in such majors with rich relevant experience can also be considered.

  • Experience: More than 5 years' experience in protocol design and standardization, with experience leading protocol standardization projects in the optical interconnection field.

  • Tech Skills: Master full-stack technology in protocols such as Ethernet, UEC, UAlink, able to design and optimize complex protocol architecture.

  • Soft Skills: Excellent English writing and negotiation skills, able to lead technical proposals in international standard conferences.

  • Leadership Skills: Strong strategical thinking and leadership skills, with sharp perception on technology trends in the industry.
