Network Support Specialist Job OverviewNetwork Technical Support - Night Shift: A Career OpportunityWe are seeking an experienced Network Support Specialist to join our team. As a Network Support Specialist, you will be responsible for performing network implementation tasks based on scripts and procedures provided by senior engineers.The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network support roles and possess a strong understanding of network concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching).This is a night shift position that requires working between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The successful candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team to resolve network issues and implement changes.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform network implementation tasks based on scripts and procedures provided by senior engineers
  • Monitor network alarms and clear tickets in coordination with senior engineers
  • Escalate circuit and connectivity issues to Telco providers and follow up on resolution
  • Provide hands-on assistance in physical installations (e.g., cabling, device power-up, console access)
  • Maintain implementation records and update documentation as instructed
  • Support routine checks and operational tasks to ensure network health and availability
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • 1–3 years of experience in IT infrastructure or network support roles
  • Basic understanding of network concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, routing, switching)
  • Willingness to work night shifts as network changes may be required after office hours
  • Strong communication and coordination skills
  • Certifications like CCNA or basic Firewall certifications (Checkpoint, Palo Alto)
