- Assist Project Manager in implementing and monitoring environmental management systems at work sites.
- Monitor conditions and situations on construction sites that may cause environmental health problems and report to the Project Manager with recommendations for remedial measures.
- Ensure environmental compliance by preparing and submitting a Site Environmental Control Programme to the Project Manager.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure they are relevant to maintaining environmental health and do not pose any environmental health hazard.
- Discuss and recommend measures to rectify environmental health irregularities such as mosquito breeding, fly infestation, noise pollution, poor housekeeping, and waste management issues.
- Report and submit a Site Environmental Control Report to the Project Manager every fortnight.
- Investigate outbreaks of infectious diseases on the construction site and collaborate with authorities as needed.
- Organize campaigns, training courses, and activities to promote environmental awareness among workers.
- Perform other duties assigned by the superior or management team.
- At least a technician diploma from an acceptable polytechnic or relevant degree.
- 1-2 years of relevant work experience in the construction field, preferably in LTA projects.
- NEA registered Environmental Control Officer (ECO) certification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word software.
