Job Description

The role of an Environmental Health Specialist is to contribute to Singapore's environmental public health by assisting scientific directors in managing research programmes. The programmes include chemical pollutants, indoor air quality, environmental surveillance and others. The job requires continuous learning to stay up-to-date with the latest developments.

Responsibilities
• Plan and manage resources for programme execution
• Develop collaborative agreements with internal and external partners
• Communicate research outcomes to various stakeholders
• Coordinate the management of multidisciplinary research programmes
• Design and manage procurement contracts
• Manage intellectual property portfolio and collaborative agreements

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or at least 5 years of experience in an applied science research environment
• Experience in managing public health research projects/programmes will be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and lead a team in a dynamic environment
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
