Job Title: Construction Cost Control Specialist
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Construction Cost Control Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our construction department, you will be responsible for ensuring that all construction projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Estimation and Planning: Develop and maintain accurate cost estimates and project budgets.
- Tendering and Procurement: Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure that all tendering and procurement processes are followed.
- Progress Claims and Payments: Manage progress claims and payments to contractors and subcontractors.
- Budget Tracking and Variations: Monitor and control project costs, including tracking variations and changes to the scope of work.
- Contract Administration: Ensure compliance with all contractual requirements and manage contract documentation.
- Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in civil infrastructure or marine/land reclamation projects.
- Skill Set: Proficient in Microsoft Office, knowledge of AutoCAD or similar tools an advantage.
