Modeling and Simulation Expert

As a Modeling and Simulation Expert, you will collaborate with R&D teams to develop simulation-driven solutions. Your expertise in multi-physical modeling and numerical methods will help drive innovation in product design and manufacturing process development.

We are seeking a highly skilled individual who can leverage their knowledge of commercial software, such as Ansys and Moldex3D, to create awareness across the organization about modeling and simulation capabilities.

The successful candidate will partner with global sites, external customers, and vendors to address urgent or strategic needs and assist with validation and knowledge transfer of outsourced modeling projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create multi-physical models targeting product design and manufacturing process needs
  • Evaluate, develop, and apply multi-physics solutions using commercial software and cutting-edge numerical methods
  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate simulation into design and process development workflows
  • Develop and maintain relationships with research institutes to advance simulation techniques
Requirements:
  • Master's or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field) plus relevant working/research experience
  • Excellent understanding of structural mechanics, heat transfer, and MEMS
  • Proven experience with FEA simulation packages, preferably with Ansys, Moldex3D, Digimat
  • Proficient in CAD tools, such as SpaceClaim, Creo, DesignModeler
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with material development and product design
  • Broad knowledge of manufacturing processes
  • Knowledge of CFD using simulation packages, preferably with Ansys Fluent
  • Signal Integrity and HFSS simulation skills
  • Data science and machine learning expertise
