Teaching and Learning Position

As a member of our teaching staff, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality learning experiences to students.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Deliver engaging and student-centred lessons in English language programmes.
    • Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress.
    • Offer academic advice and language learning support to students.
  • Curriculum Development:
    • Lead/participate in reviewing and enhancing the curriculum for English language programmes.
    • Develop assessments aligned with programme learning outcomes.
    • Collaborate with teachers to ensure consistency and quality in delivery and assessment.
  • Quality Assurance and Coordination:
    • Serve as a Discipline Coordinator, coordinating teaching and assessment activities.
    • Uphold academic integrity, teaching quality, and student satisfaction.
    • Lead or participate in cross-departmental initiatives to enhance academic practices.
  • Team Engagement:
    • Mentor and support academic staff through training and sharing best practices.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure programme relevance.
    • Promote student recruitment and retention through innovative approaches.
Qualifications and Experience
  • A recognised Bachelor's degree with a Master's degree being given priority consideration.
  • TEFL, TESOL, CELTA, or equivalent teaching certification.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience teaching English as a Second Language.
