Job Title: Mechanical Project Leader

Description

The Mechanical Project Leader oversees the lifecycle of mechanical construction projects, ensuring efficient project planning, execution, and handover. This role requires expertise in managing mechanical systems, coordinating with site teams and contractors, and maintaining effective communication with stakeholders to meet project objectives.

This involves overseeing the entire mechanical construction lifecycle, including planning, execution, and handover phases. Coordinating with site and contractor teams ensures timely completion of project milestones. Identifying and mitigating project risks is crucial, with clear communication of updates on schedules, budgets, and technical issues to stakeholders.

The Mechanical Project Leader will lead contract negotiations and oversee amendments with architects, consultants, and subcontractors. Evaluating mechanical construction methods for cost-effectiveness and monitoring budget adherence are also key responsibilities.

Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in construction project management within the mechanical engineering field, with additional experience in data center projects highly preferred.
  • Expertise in local authority approval processes, and testing and commissioning of critical infrastructure in data centers, including Integrated Systems Testing (IST).
  • Solid understanding of CAPEX planning, cost estimation, and total cost of ownership (TCO).
  • Proficiency in project management tools, MS Project, and MS Office, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrates initiative, collaboration, and resilience under pressure.
