Building Information Modeling Specialist

The MEP BIM Manager role involves overseeing the creation and maintenance of 3D building information models (BIM) for various infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities:
- Create accurate mechanical & electrical (MEP) BIM models using Revit software independently.
- Carry out clash analysis of MEP services and resolve any conflicts that arise.
- Set up and maintain BIM models for MEP projects.
- Develop necessary 3D BIM Revit libraries and families for MEP, piping, and accessories like valves.
- Generate MEP COBie files using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare detailed plans, elevations, sections, isometric drawings, 3D drawings, single-line, double-line, and schematic drawings.
- Design layouts of MEP services and routings with consideration for space for maintenance and operation.
- Perform calculations for cooling loads, fan static pressure loss, pump head, and fire sprinkler hydraulic calculations.
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in mechanical, electrical, or civil engineering.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in MEP drafting using 3D BIM (Autodesk Revit) and Autodesk Navisworks.
- Preference for experience in A&A / Commercial projects and working in A1 main contractor environments.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
Work Arrangements:
Able to commit to a 6-day work week with one Saturday off each month.
