Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Data Science Project Manager to lead our data science and AI projects from ideation to production. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality results.

Your primary focus will be on delivering complex data science or AI projects, including scoping, planning, execution, risk management, and closure. You will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define deliverables, and align priorities.

You will prioritize tasks and deliverables based on business impact, resource availability, and technical feasibility, developing and maintaining detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage expectations and build consensus among diverse groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a project manager specifically for data science or AI/ML projects or products.
  • Proven experience managing the data science project lifecycle from ideation to production.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, such as Agile and Scrum, adapted for data science.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms, including GCP, AWS, and Azure.
