Project Director Opportunity

The Project Director will oversee the end-to-end delivery of large-scale data science and AI projects, from scoping and planning to execution, evaluation, and deployment.

This role requires working closely with stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams to drive tech-enabled change in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver data science/AI projects: scoping, planning, execution, risk management, closure.
  • Translate business problems into analytical project plans with clear milestones.
  • Collaborate with business & technical teams to define deliverables and align priorities.
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and task prioritization.
  • Provide regular status updates on risks and milestones.
  • Ensure documentation, stakeholder approvals, and smooth project handover.
  • Present results in a business-friendly format and gather feedback.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics or related field.
  • 3 years experience as a project manager for data science/AI/ML projects.
  • Proven track record of managing the full data science lifecycle (ideation production).
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, etc.).
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure).
  • Proactive, independent, strong ownership.
  • Hands-on data science/AI experience or certifications are a plus.
