Technical Design Software Specialist

This role is responsible for participating in end-to-end projects for system implementation of MLS systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software application solution and technical design, with experience in functional analysis, impact assessment, and software architecture design.

The successful candidate will engage and collaborate with architects, security, and development leads to ensure solution design complies with enterprise design principles, security, and control standards. They will also analyze user requirements and convert them into design documents and other system documentation to capture key design decisions.

  • Participate in end-to-end projects for system implementation of MLS systems
  • Engage and collaborate with architects, security, and development leads
  • Analyze user requirements and convert them into design documents
  • Plan technical deliverables and perform design and development works
  • Perform data mapping and process mapping with interfacing applications
  • Escalate issues that impact project schedule on a timely basis
  • Create technical documents for the solutions
  • Test, maintain, and recommend software improvements
  • Work with production support team members
  • Partner with test management teams
  • Liaise with other application teams and business users
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should have more than 10 years of experience in a techno-functional role in compliance technology or risk/finance technology, at least 8 years of experience in application and process design, ability to multitask effectively, handle large amounts of data, moderate SQL skills, highly driven, proactive, and strong team player.

  • Experience in Hadoop ecosystem and technologies
  • Experience in NoSQL database or Big Data
  • Experience in Git, Jenkins, JIRA
  • Experience in SharePoint and Confluence
  • Experience/knowledge in Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle, Java, and Python, Spark
Domain/Skills
  • Experience in Banking Compliance
  • Experience in AI Machine Learning
  • Experience in Application Development, System Implementation, and Integration
