Data Center Design Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Leadership to join our team as a Data Center Design Engineer.

This role is critical in leading the design of our data centers across the Asia Pacific region. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from concept design through construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a small international team of controls engineers to accomplish project requirements
  • Collaborating with multiple teams, including construction, programmers, MEP/ACS engineers, and team managers to meet initiative goals
  • Developing and maintaining global design standards, specification documents, and project-specific scope of work (SOW) documents
  • Vendor selection, bid review, approval of equipment submittals, RFI support, and coordination

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and 3+ years of experience in data center or mission-critical facility design
  • 8+ years as a design lead on projects with multiple teams or vendors to meet project requirements
  • A comprehensive understanding of various code requirements across the APAC region
