Are you passionate about providing excellent care and support to students? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a School Health and Support Officer.
As a key member of the school community, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our students. Your primary responsibility will be to provide first aid and emergency care to students who are injured or unwell during school hours. This may involve attending to minor injuries, administering medication, and communicating with parents and teachers as needed.
In addition to your first aid duties, you will also be responsible for maintaining the stock of first aid items in the sick bay, conducting regular checks on First Aid Kits, and ensuring that all equipment is well supplied and not expired. You will work closely with the school administration team to maintain accurate records of student medical and accident reports, confidentially and safely.
You will also have the opportunity to engage with students during recess and lunchtime, promoting a positive and supportive environment. Your role will include bringing students for indoor and outdoor activities, assisting with lunchtime supervision, and supporting the front reception desk as needed. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure a smooth-running school day.
