Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as a Community Rehabilitation Specialist. As a key member of our rehabilitation facility, you will be responsible for managing programs, supporting casework, and providing administrative assistance.

Your role will involve working with youths in an institutional setting, focusing on community rehabilitation. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting needs assessments to develop suitable programs
  • Planning, leading, and facilitating programs
  • Implementing assessment tools to evaluate group work outcomes
  • Developing group processes and intervention strategies
  • Facilitating and reviewing therapeutic group work sessions
  • Managing volunteers and sourcing partners to enhance hostel programs

You will also be responsible for providing casework support, including maintaining good working relationships with stakeholders such as parents and schools.

In addition to your casework responsibilities, you will also be required to perform administrative tasks such as organizing and maintaining documents, meeting administrative timelines, and engaging effectively with colleagues and clients.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and writing skills, as well as knowledge of social work interventions, policies, and community engagement. You will also need to demonstrate resilience, integrity, serving, excellence, and teamwork values.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Social Sciences
  • Prior mentoring experience and youth-at-risk work
