Job Title: Exercise Specialist

As an Exercise Specialist, you will play a vital role in helping clients with musculoskeletal conditions and post-surgery rehabilitation. This role involves designing tailored exercise programs and conducting exercise sessions independently or as part of a broader rehabilitation treatment plan.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Exercise Program Design: Create customized exercise programs for clients with musculoskeletal conditions and injuries;
  • Exercise Session Conductance: Lead exercise sessions independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Rehabilitation Planning: Collaborate with physiotherapists to develop comprehensive rehabilitation plans;
  • Client Education: Educate clients on proper exercise techniques and safety protocols;
  • Progress Monitoring: Maintain accurate records of client progress and modify exercise programs as needed;
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, or a related field;
  • Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology, as well as exercise physiology;
  • A keen interest in physical rehabilitation and ongoing professional development;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to speak and communicate effectively;
  • Comfortable interacting with people from diverse backgrounds;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint;
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fresh graduates or experienced professionals in the field of exercise science or sports medicine;
  • Personal trainers with experience in rehabilitating clients with musculoskeletal conditions;
  • Physical therapy assistants with prior experience in exercise-related therapy.
