Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Food Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and services, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular quality control checks on finished goods and maintain accurate records
- Prepare equipment and materials for quality inspections
- Inspect incoming packaging and raw materials, reporting any issues or defects
- Maintain and update all necessary quality and calibration documentation
- Organize and conduct training sessions on good manufacturing practices and food safety protocols
- Oversee Halal certification processes and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
- Perform internal audits and quality checks as scheduled
- Assist with various quality control tasks and projects as needed
Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Food Science and Technology, Chemistry, Nutrition, Microbiology, or a related field
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a quality control role
- Familiarity with ISO 22000 & ISO 9001, as well as knowledge of Halal requirements
