Iron Ore Chartering Specialist

As an Iron Ore Chartering Specialist, you will play a critical role in the company's iron ore trading operations. Your key responsibilities include developing and managing vessel resources, including vessel sourcing, negotiating charter terms, and contract signing.

Vessel Management

  • You will oversee the development and management of vessel resources, including sourcing vessels, negotiating charter terms, and ensuring smooth execution of contracts.
  • You will manage the shipping process by coordinating transportation issues, resolving emergencies, and tracking voyages to ensure timely delivery of iron ore.

Market Analysis

  • You will conduct market analysis to collect market data, analyze freight trends, and forecast influencing factors to inform business decisions.
  • You will evaluate business performance, control chartering costs, and identify potential risks to ensure the company's success in the iron ore trading market.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience, including 2 years of experience in Singapore is required.
  • Prior experience in chartering dry bulk vessels is essential for this role.
  • Strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin are necessary to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and clients.
