Iron Ore Trader

We are seeking an experienced Iron Ore Trader to join our team. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for executing both spot and futures iron ore trades.

  • Trade Execution: You will carry out iron ore buying and selling operations based on instructions from senior management, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

  • Market Monitoring & Data Updates: You will track real-time market trends for iron ore and related products (spot and futures), analyze price movements, supply and demand data, and industry developments.

  • Contract & Order Coordination: You will follow up on contract and order execution, and work closely with internal teams to facilitate external communication.

  • Client Support: You will visit clients as assigned, gather market intelligence, and help build and maintain strong customer relationships.

  • Reporting & System Management: You will update daily position reports, trade records, and trading system data; prepare weekly trading reports and monthly summaries.

  • You will also perform other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Finance, Trade, or related fields.

  • At least 5 years of experience in iron ore trading, with solid knowledge of iron ore products and trading processes.

  • Strong execution and communication skills, detail-oriented, and able to work well under pressure.

  • Fluent in both English and Chinese (as the case may require for communication with Chinese counterparts).
