Job Opportunity: Trade Operations Specialist

  • This role offers the chance to work with leading financial institutions, providing end-to-end support for interest rate and credit default swaps products across various regions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades, adhering to relevant regulations and standards.
  • Participate in process improvements and projects, driving productivity enhancements and ensuring successful implementation.
  • Analyze data at a specialist level, identifying areas for improvement and opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with teams to drive business objectives, leveraging expertise and experience to deliver results.

Responsibilities include:

  • Validating new interest rate swaps and credit default swaps against source documents in Murex or Front Arena systems.
  • Authorizing payments and receipts for Treasury products, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
  • Performing fixing procedures in Murex and Front Arena systems, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Liaising with counterparties and local teams to facilitate settlement or fixing.
  • Monitoring and handling various aspects of trade operations, including data analysis and problem-solving.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to analyze complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications, including Murex and Front Arena.
  • Knowledge of interest rate and credit default swaps markets, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with strong organizational skills.
