Are you a detail-oriented professional with exceptional organizational skills?

We are seeking an experienced Cost Estimator and Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our construction projects, you will play a vital role in the tender and project stages.

Responsibilities:

  • Tender Stage:

    • Assist in tender documentation, preparation, and submission
    • Study architectural, structural, and detail drawings to estimate quantities of materials
    • Liaise with designers, QA/QC, and other personnel for cost calculations
    • Contact manufacturers and suppliers to obtain best-priced quotations

  • Project Commencement and Construction Stage:

    • Conduct project kick-off meetings to explain scope of works and materials
    • Set up base cost sheets and monitor project costing
    • Report overruns to Project Manager/ Director
    • Coordinate monthly progress claims and site meetings

  • General Responsibilities:

    • Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental requirements
    • Maintain proper records of drawings, worksheets, and payment details
    • Monitor suppliers/subcontractors' performance and evaluate based on ISO 9001 standards
    • Represent the company in external meetings and audits

Requirements:

  • Negotiation, factory, construction, quantity surveying, or civil engineering experience

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
