About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate abacus instructor to provide high-quality education to students aged 3 and above. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and imparting abacus and mental arithmetic skills to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and train students in abacus and mental arithmetic skills, ensuring they meet their full potential.
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans and materials that cater to different learning styles.
  • Assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their development.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians on student progress, keeping them informed of their child's achievements and areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Education or related field, such as Mathematics or Psychology.
  • Minimum 1 year of teaching experience, preferably in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
  • Strong mathematical and arithmetic skills, with a deep understanding of number systems and problem-solving techniques.
