Job Description

The primary role of a Dining Service Manager is to oversee the smooth operation of our dining experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming guests and leading them to their seats, creating a positive first impression.
  • Taking customer orders, ensuring accuracy and delivering food and beverages in a timely manner.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Presenting bills to customers, collecting payment promptly, and handling any discrepancies efficiently.
  • Preparing and setting up the restaurant for service, including restocking supplies and ensuring equipment is in good working order.
  • Managing stock levels, ordering replenishments as needed, and maintaining inventory records.
  • Responding to customer inquiries with a pleasant demeanor, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Requirements

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers alike.
  • A customer-focused attitude, with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
